Clearlift utilizes a fractional Q-switched Nd:YAG laser that emits short pulses of light in a pixelated pattern. This fractional approach creates microthermal zones within your skin while leaving surrounding areas untouched. The laser energy penetrates through the outer layer of your skin (epidermis) and reaches the deeper layers, known as the dermis. By targeting the dermis, Clearlift stimulates collagen production and triggers a natural healing response in your skin. One of the significant advantages of Clearlift is that it is a non-ablative treatment. This means it does not involve removing or damaging the outer skin layer, resulting in minimal discomfort and downtime. You can return to your daily activities immediately after the treatment, making it a convenient option for busy individuals.

-Laser Energy Penetration: The laser emits short, high-intensity pulses of light that pass through the outer layer of the skin (epidermis) and reach the deeper layers without causing significant damage to the surface.

-Collagen Stimulation: The laser energy creates controlled thermal effects within the skin. This process stimulates the production of new collagen, a vital protein that provides structure and firmness to the skin. Increased collagen production helps to improve skin elasticity and reduce the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles.

-Skin Tightening: The collagen remodeling triggered by Clearlift promotes skin tightening. As new collagen forms, it tightens the skin and improves its overall texture and tone.

-Gentle and Non-Ablative: Clearlift is a non-ablative laser treatment, meaning it does not remove or damage the outer layer of the skin. It is a very gentle, but very effective treatment. You will feel a slight snapping on the skin as the laser is applied and skin is treated but this is not painful. You may have a slight erythema (redness of the skin) if you are especially sensitive but this is not very common. 

We offer individual treatments but for best results we recommend a course of 6 treatments spaced 3-4 weeks apart. Clearlift can deliver good results after your first session but it is especially effective in the long term, making it a beneficial treatment in the prevention of ageing, as well as for targeting specific concerns. It will continue working long after your course has finished and best results can be seen after 2 months. 

For maintenance we recommend a Clearlift treatment every 3 months.

As Clearlift is a gentle treatment there is not much that you need to do after your treatment. You can cleanse your face as normal, avoid exfoliation for the first 24 hours to avoid overstimulating the area, stay out of direct sun and wear an SPF. 

This treatment can be combined with other treatments on the Harmony XL Pro system for better results if necessary.
